SlateBook x 2, "Tablet-Laptop from HP with Android

Computer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard (HP) was not satisfied only one launching the series Android-based tablet device by 2013. HP has just launched a hybrid tablet and the latest Android-based notebook, SlateBook x 2.

This product is known as a hybrid because it comes with a detachable keyboard (can be removed). Detachable keyboard device, then this product will serve as a tablet device. However, if the keyboard is installed, this product will be transformed into a notebook.

The SlateBook x 2 is the first detachable device will be present by using the latest mobile processors made by Nvidia, Tegra 2.

Quoted from Pocket Lint, Thursday (16/5/2013), HP SlateBook x 2 comes with a big enough screen, which is 10.1 inches. The screen has a built-in support for high resolution, 1920 x 1200 pixels.

In terms of operating system, HP SlateBook x 2 armed with the Android version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

In addition to launching the SlateBook x 2, HP also introduced other hybrid devices called Split x 2. The difference between the two, Split x 2 comes with the operating system Windows 8.

Its screen is also slightly larger than the SlateBook x 2. The device is available in a size 13 inches screen which supports a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

This device already comes with the PC specs. This product is equipped with an Intel Core i3 or i5 Ivy Bridge. 

In terms of storage media, Split x 2 is equipped with a 500 GB hard disk.

In addition to type, detachable keyboard Split property of x 2 can also serve as an extra battery. 

This new product will be launched in August 2013 in the United States. Is not yet known when both are present in Indonesia. SlateBook x 2 will be sold at a price of 480 US dollars and Split x 2 sold at 800 US dollars.
