BlackBerry "Off" BBM to the Android and iPhone

A "surprise" delivered the BlackBerry in BlackBerry Live 2013 in Orlando, us, on Tuesday (14/5/2013). BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), will be available for Android and iOS.

CEO Thorsten Heins, BlackBerry, say, BBM for other platforms will be available mid of this year for the iPhone (iOS 4 above) and Android (Ice Cream Sandwich). 

"This is a statement of our confidence that the BlackBerry platform 10 is pretty good so that BBM can be propagated to other systems," Heins said. 

At first, the BBM in the Android and iOS will have standard features such as messaging and Group. However, Heins promised further features will also be present. That includes, BBM Video, Voice, and Screen Share. 

The rumour BBM will in presence of other platforms, particularly Android, has sounded since 2012. Finally, the term BlackBerry Live 2013, it was inaugurated. 

"We make the BBM more robust platform than ever before," Heins said. 

At the same event, the BlackBerry also announced new features of BBM Channel is currently in Beta (testing). 

Features BBM Channel will allow the formation of community-based fuel. Later the BBM Channel will put a brand or celebrity.
